Literature Text

Weak.
That's all they are.
Stupid, fragile, completely meaningless.
What are they?
They're sounds.
Different noises shoved together
in a horrible pattern
Doing nothing.
They can't do anything.
They can't kill.
They can't hurt.
They can't revive the dead.
They can't heal.
Useless,
Hopeless,
Words.

Powerful.
That's what they are.
Strong, intelligent, brimming with meaning
What are they?
Music.
Chords strung together
into a beautiful tune
Doing everything.
They can do anything.
They can kill.
They can hurt.
They can revive the dead.
They can heal.
Useful,
Meaningful,
Words.

Words.
Poisoning minds and clearing the thoughts.
Telling fantastic tales yet giving away nothing.
Smashing hearts and piecing them together.
Slaying hope yet bringing it to blossom.
Tearing down dreams and filling them with life.

That is what words are.
I need suggestions on how to improve this =|

Made this while listening to this: [link]
while thinking about words. I mean, you can't kill or hurt someone with it. It's not like you can say "puppy" and someone ruptures into a spray of blood and guts and flesh and stuff but depending on what words you use you can kill or hurt someone like telling them "you're shit" or worse all without causing a single physical wound. Thought along those lines the whole way.

EDIT #1:
Changed the third stanza slightly. I dunno if it's any better than before but I think it is.

Very clever idea! While I love the repetition with the use of opposites and overall format, I think it gets a bit too redundant by the third stanza. Maybe, to spice it up, you could create a few, simple metaphors that are opposites (if that makes sense), to project the same thing that your previous poetic strategy was conveying, while adding a little pizaazzzzzzzz. Beautiful poem, caught my eye right away! *highfives*
